Oreshek cafe, located in St. Petersburg, is dedicated to one of the most nostalgic desserts in USSR — oreshek with boiled condensed milk. This iconic Soviet treat is made with a crispy shortbread shell filled with rich, caramelized condensed milk. In addition to oreshek, the cafe offers classic croissants and a selection of beverages, including aromatic coffee and a variety of teas. For those who want to recreate the taste of childhood at home, GOST 31 688-2012 standard condensed milk is also available for purchase.
The main challenge for Ksyuschenka bureau was creating from scratch a brand-new space with a recognizable identity of the cafe. The design is based on a combination of a neutral background with bold accents — pink plexiglass, stainless steel, and plywood. A marble slab decorating a part of the bar became a separate accent in the design.
The variety of seating options makes the cafe comfortable for different types of visitors: for those who enjoy solitude, there is a cozy armchair with a lamp and a side table; for guests who prefer sitting at the bar, a comfortable bar area has been designed. For couples or small groups, there is a soft seating area, perfect for long conversations.

However, the owners of Oreshek cafe wanted not only to create a cozy space but also to encourage offline visitors to become part of their online community. To achieve this, we placed a special plexiglass sign with a QR code above the entrance. By scanning it, guests are directed to the cafe’s social media pages and receive a 10% discount on their next order.
Additionally, we installed a corner navigation menu on the wall, and another menu directly on the counter. This ensures that no matter where a guest is, he can easily browse the menu.
